Shadow of a Pyramid
Louis Puster
Right.
So, the Shadow of a Pyramid story got a little longer than I expected. My goal was a short story, and as Morgan, my editor, pointed out, "Once you cross 20,000 words it is technically a novella."
I had planned on putting the story up on this site as a something people could come and read here, but now it seems a little long for this format. A narrowly formatted page on this site might not be a great way to read it. Instead I have decided to release it in eBook and paperback.
Before people start sending me nasty notes about book 3 let me say this: Chill. I am working on it. The work is slow going, but it is happening. Chapter 3 is almost done, and the story is really starting to take on flesh in my head. It might be out later than I would like, but hey - if I could release the entire story in one lump to the world, I would jump at the chance. Unfortunately, life isn't like that, and writing is just difficult like that.
There will be at least a few of these side stories before I finish the Saga of Ukumog. I have decided to call this side series the Threads of Ukumog. They are all little threads of the story which are all tied back into the main through line of the saga, so I felt it was appropriate.
As proof that the new story is almost ready, I give unto you the cover art!

So, there you have it. The story is real, and as soon as I have a solid release date, I will be posting it here and on Facebook.
Thanks for reading!
